📚 New Library Challenge: 100 Books Before Graduation 🎓
Hey middle & high school fam — the library’s got a brand-new reading challenge just for you: 100 Books Before Graduation.
If you’re going into 6th–12th grade, you can sign up anytime. The goal? Read 100 books before you toss that grad cap. You can start now, next year, or even as a sophomore — just finish before graduation day. If you want to crush it early, go for it. Once you hit 100, you’ve maxed out the prize pool, but you can totally keep reading just for bragging rights.
How it works:

Swing by the library & fill out a quick sign-up form (bring your library card or your parent/guardian’s card).

Grab your first book tracker bookmark.

Every time you hit a milestone (10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 books), bring it in — we’ll check it, give you a prize, and hand you your next tracker.

Finish all 100 books = free book + gift card 💸
We know high school gets busy — sports, homework, friends, Netflix binges, you name it. But reading is still one of the best ways to chill, escape reality, and keep your brain sharp. Whether you’re in it for the prizes or the pure joy of getting lost in a story, we want to see you cross that 100-book finish line.

Join us every 2nd Wednesday in the library at 10 am, when we'll read books, sing songs, do flannel board activities & games, create a craft, and have a snack! It's a special library time just for our littlest readers!
Our Maker Mondays program happens every Monday after school! It is a free, come-and-go program, so drop in whenever you can to let your kids enjoy some fun learning!
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a great way to start your child's literacy journey! Sign up today and get your reading log to get started. We have a Wall of Fame so your child can see their progress, and when they reach their 1000 books, they receive a certificate and a free book!
